Good adoring trustable family vehicle
Pros : Good exteriors, nice fuel economy, durable, excellent handling at relative high speeds and really nice interiors
Cons : Cramped legroom for rear passengers and almost nil boot space, low ground clearance and high maintenance cost
I am driving Santro for close to 3 years now and am much satisfied with the overall performance, already driven close to 55000 kms on all kind of terrains, rough, dusty, bad road full of potholes, and regular compact traffic filled city roads and amazingly car proved herself on all.
Driving in tough dense traffic conditions in Bangalore is always a challenge but the compact size and nice power makes it easy to drive and my big thanks to Hyundai for providing such a nice a/c which cools me in the scorching heat, when I stuck in bad traffic for hours. As per me it’s a best value for money, nice mileage, good comfortable seats and driving posture makes it easy to drive for long hours without getting tired. Cost is again reasonable and is very competitive in its segment.
I found maintenance cost a bit high, spares parts are highly priced too and most of them have effective life of close to 40000 kms. As car is available in diesel and LPG variants, so customers have vide variety of options available to opt for and car too can suit well to varying needs of all the customers.
Overall it’s a nice car and I still feel attached to it though it’s been quite a long time and now it’s a right time for me to consider next best available option but not able to figure out the right one, one car in which I find myself interested in is the all new I-10 sports, with it Hyundai has took key Santro features to the all new levels.
