Hyundai Santro, best in its category !!!

Pros : Good fuel efficiency, appreciable driving and classy music system

Cons : Lacks safety features like airbags and anti-lock braking system

Hi, I am Shivam Trivedi from Karnal, Haryana. A few month ago, I became the proud owner of Hyundai  Santro Xing GLS Audio. The car has been the most impressive stuff so far I have driven. Earlier, I had a Maruti Alto but compared to Alto, Hyundai Santro Xing has more features, better mileage and excellent driving pleasure. I mostly drive on highways, therefore mileage was the first priority from my side, and at present I am getting mileage of 15 kmpl in city conditions and 19 kmpl on highways, without any service being done. I expect that the fuel economy would get better after 2 – 3 services.

The music system of the car is the centre of attraction as it has a soothing Dolby sound that doubles the driving pleasure. I think that compared to Chevrolet Beat and Maruti A-Star, Hyundai Santro is the best choice as it gives you the full on entertainment and superb driving pleasure at a nominal price tag. As far as the looks are concerned, I think that the looks are neither good nor bad. I agree that the Hyundai Santro Xing lacks safety features like Anti-lock Braking System, Airbags and Stability but if you drive in city conditions then the available features are more than enough.
 

I would suggest Hyundai Motors to make the car look sportier like the Chevrolet Beat so that the car becomes cent percent perfect hatchback. Also an automatic transmission and a diesel variant should be launched to beat the Maruti small cars.
