Hyundai Verna, Verito, which one to buy?

Pros : Verna has good pick up, fuel Economy and sporty design.

Cons : Verna Fludic has more maintenance cost and lacks inner comforts compared to Verito

Hello! In coming three weeks, I would be purchasing a sedan and my preference would be amongst Hyundai Verna Fluidic or Mahindra Verito. I am done with the test drive of these two cars. I drove the Verna Fluidic for around 4 kms and I found it good in terms of performance, however, the height of this car is bit lesser than Mahindra Verito. Pick up of both Verna Fluidic and Mahindra Verito is superb however, the acceleration of Hyundai Verna Fluidic was better than the Verito.

Features available in Hyundai Verna Fluidic base variants are more than Verito’s base model, but there is big price difference in both of these cars. The Verna is around 2 lakh rupees more expensive than Verito. The amazing factor is that the Verito has capacious interiors than Verna Fluidic and also Verito has the largest boot space in the sedan segment. In addition, I found the fabric quality of interiors is much better in Verito compared to the Verna Fluidic. I am in dilemma whether to compromise with style or to compromise with comfort & budget.

I have also read the reviews of both these cars and interestingly many of the Verna Fluidic users have accredited this car due to its style and features and not because of the comforts. On the other hand, the Verito users have complimented their car in terms of great comforts, but they also complained that the outside styling could have been improved.

From the maintenance point of view, Verito seems to be a cheaper option, but service network of Hyundai is definitely more expanded than Mahindra. The other point to consider is the resale value, the Verito has lesser resale value, while the Verna Fluidic has got a good repo in the market. I have to decide in a day or two and your suggestions would be more than welcome.
