Think twice before buying it

Pros : Stylish and fuel efficient

Cons : Low ground clearance, poor road grip, cheap interiors, lesser interior space and loose body shell

I bought the Verna Fluidic thinking that it would prove be a good car in all prospects and it’s been a month since I driving it and have confronted with all its drawbacks and pros. Prior to this car, I had a Fiat Linea powered by the similar 1.4 liter engine except the fuel efficiency and looks, I think Linea was a better car than the present Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.4 VTVT petrol, I own.

You can appreciate the Fluidic design and excellent mileage of 15 kmpl, but to criticize there are ample of issues in this car. First of all, the ground clearance is the major problem with this car. I used to think that the Linea was the car with low ground clearance, now I feel that compared to the Linea, the newly bought Hyundai Verna has poor ground clearance.

Moreover, while you drive Verna at the speed of more than 120 kmph, you can easily judge that how instable it becomes. If I talk about the quality of interiors, I would simply say that Hyundai has failed completely to give a good touch to the interiors of this car. Furthermore, the interior cabin space of Verna Fluidic is stiff than the interior space of Fiat Linea. The rear seat has got very less shoulder space, leg-room and headroom. However, the front driver seat of Verna is quite sufficient.

If you hold the bonnet cover to inspect the engine of Fiat Linea, you feel that what tough build car it is. This is not the case with Verna Fluidic the body shell of this car is too loose and cheap in quality. I am sure all those who own sedans like Linea, Vento and Octavia would not find the exteriors quite impressive in quality.
