Hyundai Verna: Best of all sedans
Pros : Great mileage and fabulous features
Cons : Lesser headroom & legroom and poor road visibility
Hello!! This is Srinath from Chennai and four months back, I bought Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 CRDi SX in exchange of my Honda City 1.5 SMT 2008 model. Due to increase in my daily vehicle running I had to switch for diesel Verna. I think that buying Verna diesel is a right decision. In comparison to my previously owned Honda City, I think that there are few setbacks to be considered about the Verna Fluidic. I found that the leg-room from the rear seat occupants is slightly lesser than the rear seat legroom of Honda City. In addition, the Headroom space of my new Verna Fluidic is almost an inch or two inches lesser.
However, the drive and performance of Verna Fluidic is totally incredible and makes me forget of my past vehicle. The powerful 1.6 liter CRDi diesel engine delivers outstanding fuel efficiency of around 17 kmpl in city and 19 kmpl on the highways. Moreover, in comparison to my old Honda City the road grip and stability of Verna Fluidic is better, but the ground visibility some what seems to be poor.
Coming to the features, I think Hyundai has blessed the Verna Fluidic SX diesel with ample of exciting features like Dual Airbags, Power Steering, Power Windows, CD Player, ABS, Automatic Climate Control, Audio controls on steering wheel, Outside temperature screen etc.
The quality of the fabric interiors of Verna Fluidic is somewhat similar to that of Honda City, no doubt the designing and trims are quite modern in Verna compared to my 2008 Honda City.
All in all, I can say that Hyundai Verna Fluidic is a good option to go with, other than Honda City. I think that availability of Hyundai Verna in a diesel engine is its major advantage
