Hyundai Verna was one of the best offerings in the sedan segment (under the budget of Rs. 10 Lakh), when it was launched about 5-6 years ago, and it has remained so ever since. Though, it wasn’t giving a tough time to the best seller Honda City. Then, Hyundai launched the second generation Verna last year, and they called it Hyundai Verna Fluidic. This was one of the best makeovers I had ever seen, and it totally took the market by storm. Hyundai made sure that no stone remains unturned in making this car work wonders in the Indian auto market.

I was so excited for this car’s launch, and I had to get my hands on it. So, I booked Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.6 CRDi which was priced at Rs. 8.90 Lakh (Ex-Showroom Price). Since the day it got delivered to me, I feel like a god when I am driving it. It’s a pure charmer and nobody can complain about anything at all. I drive it around city, and I drive it on highways, and I never feel restricted whatsoever.

Both the versions are being offered in six variants, and as the prices increase, the features are added to as well. I opted for the diesel as my driving is more on highways. My car is blessed with a powerful 1582 cc diesel engine that delivers fuel efficiency of around 15 kmpl in city and 19 on highways. I have been told that mileage will improve more after the first and second service, now that’s incredible.

The design of this car is better than your imaginations, and it appeals to everyone who likes cars. The interiors as well, are beautifully designed and never let you feel that they could have been better. Overall, Hyundai Verna Fluidic is here to rule for long.
