It is a strong car, Mahindra Bolero

Pros : durable, bold body, good air conditioning system

Cons : poor power steering, no major safety features

I have purchased a Mahindra Bolero ZLX BS III about three months ago. I wanted to buy a car which is very strong and durable as I am a very rough user of my things. And if I talk about some successful SUVs then the name of Mahindra cars comes to my mind at the very first moment. The company has a good will of producing very good cars since a very long time.

The car which I own has a very powerful engine which has been mated with a good five speed transmission system. The car is able to deliver a mileage of 9 km per litre in the city and 13.4 km per litre on the highways, I personally feel that this is a good number for a car of this size. If I talk about the outer appearance or outer body of this car, then I will very confidently say that this car has a very tough looking and bold appearance. The halogen headlamps in the front and body graphics give this car a very good appeal and these also take the car to a whole new level of masculinity. The rear end of this car has a very well styled tail lamps and body colored bumpers. The sides of this car have body colored door handles and body colored outside rear view mirrors.

The interiors of this car are also very good and I would say that they are quite luxurious. The interiors of this car has features like voice command system, a very efficient air conditioning system with heater system, rear air condition vents. The car also has a power steering which I found a bit rough and I wish that the steering was a bit smoother so that the overall handling and driving experience could be enhanced much more. The driver’s information system is also another feature which is present in the interiors of this car and is worth talking about.

There are other features in this car as well like power windows both in the front and the rear, remote fuel lid opener, CD player with AM/FM radio and cup holders in the front. I really miss having cup holders in the rear. On the name of safety features this car only has a central locking system, good brakes and a good suspension system. Apart from it this car is not having any major safety features like airbags or anti lock braking system. Overall the car is quite good. It is very bold and masculine and is good for a rough use.
