Mahindra Scorpio : My Indian Hummer J

Pros : Phenomenal driving, superb dynamics and good mileage

Cons : Noisy engine and more features could have been added

Hi!!! I am Nikhil Sharma from Dehradun, I bought Mahindra Scorpio VLX three years back. My overall experience with Scorpio has been excellent. I believe that the Scorpio is much better than Tata Safari and Mahindra Bolero. From the exteriors, my Scorpio looks like the American SUV, Hummer.  The stylish muscle front appearance of my Scorpio is enchanted by its wide front grills, attractive headlamps and sporty front bumper.
 

I favor the automobile critics who say that the driving of Scorpio is phenomenal. At a speed of 149  kmph, the stability and balance of Scorpio is commendable.  Despite being a 2WD power churner, my Indian Hummer, Scorpio give me the 4WD pleasure. In terms of mileage too, I find Mahindra Scorpio as a perfect match for SUV lovers, it deliver mileage of 9 km/l in city to 12 km/l on highway conditions.
 

I would not say that this car is 100 percent a perfect SUV as it lacks some exciting features like Cruise control, Parking Sensors, Sun-roof and Bluetooth connectivity. Another problem I found in this car is of its engine noise, the diesel of this car reminds me of Mahindra tractor, therefore, I would suggest Mahindra & Mahindra to boost this car with a silent and smooth diesel engine which has lesser noise emission.  

I have recently heard that Mahindra Scorpio has been launched with a hybrid engine which is good sign for the future of this car. I would for sure love to go for the exchange and buy the new Scorpio hybrid.
