A beautiful combination of power, comfort and luxury
Pros : Amazingly designed, good fuel efficiency, high ground clearance, low turning radius and a best value for money
Cons : Suspension is not effective in the third row and plastic used to build interiors lacks class
Overall: I have always been a great admirer of SUVs and from the time I heard Mahindra is going to launch a new SUV, I was eagerly waiting to see what they are coming up with and finally after getting a first glimpse of the all new sexy off roader, I think Mahindra has paid me well for the time I have spent for it. XUV looks stunning from outside; it looks like a pounding cheetah. I have seen the side arches from a slight distance and they looks like cheetah’s shoulder muscles. In the front XUV is bejeweled with adoring curvy headlights and fog lamps. Big stretched backlights give a mindboggling look.
I took test drive to explore the hidden qualities of this marvelous piece of engineering. Dashboard looks like that of an airliner, equipped with all the modern tools and features. Just think of anything and ask Mahindra will never say no and will guide you on what you are asking and will show you where they have placed it. In certain aspects I found it little confusing but one would get used to all of them with time. Car is designed to give best value for money it fetches and special attention is paid towards safety and luxury however I found suspension bit stiff and my friend sitting in the third row started feeling uncomfortable when we left smooth highway road and entered potholed village street. If you ask me to rate it I will give 8 out of 10 and is a best option available for passionate off roaders. The only glitch is a long wait after booking and that’s too is closed for a certain period of time.
