A beautiful SUV by Mahindra
Pros : Hulky looks, beautiful exteriors especially backlights gives a sporty feel, very easy to handle, good fuel efficiency, enormous space inside, host of safety features, a/c is great
Cons : Steering is a bit hard and not easy to handle, wheels are not as per SUV requirements, ground clearance is low and third row seats are very cramped and useless
Mahindra XUV 500, another Khali presented by our country’s best heavy vehicle manufacturer. Car looks awesome from the front; nice stretched headlights, wonderfully embedded fog lamps, very beautiful grill with big broad tyres. Side curves gives a very sporty look and when you move back and look at the very beautiful backlights which adds to the beauty and take it to an all new high level you won’t be able to restrict yourself to take its test drive.
I drove it on NH8 to test its power and agility and I stood surprised when I was running at 110 and feeling nothing more than 60 or 70.Car runs very smooth and its handling on high speeds is great, turns in like a flick of a finger. Grips the road hard and moves like a rocket cracker then we took it on rough land to test its ruggedness, in the front and second row everything worked well but in the third row which is cramped my friend was not feeling very comfortable and road vibrations were very much shaking my stuff too. Fuel efficiency is great and is close to 9kms and is priced between 11 to 14 lacs.
A good rugged, beautiful, hulky SUV with very powerful engine and a/c together with enormous space for 8 people to seat in comfortably with all their belongings can do marvels and is a best option for passionate off roaders to explore their world with a friend always ready to serve them at best.

ReplyThe words ‘handsome’ and ‘macho’ do justice to the XUV500 – Mahindra has put a premium on styling, although the designers have gone a little overboard at a few places.
