Best looking SUV in the country at much affordable price

Pros : Bold aggressive looks, smooth elegant finishing, spacious interiors, easy to handle and is sharp at turns and moves like a knife

Cons : Suspension is not that great and rear compartment vibrates on bumpy roads

I booked Mahindra XUV 500 when I saw it the very first time and I got my delivery within a month. It’s been three months now and everything is going great and am enjoying the nice ride at best. It’s undoubtedly a great design with good muscular looks and aggressive designing. I love to drive it every day. I have driven it 4000 kms already and every weekend we go out on a long drive. Recently I have visited Jammu and Kashmir and am planning to go on a religious tour covering 20 different spots on the coming weekend. I am a wildlife photographer and going on long drives is a work necessity and a rugged muscular off roader is much of a requirement. Thanks to Mahindra for developing good hulky strong designs. Scorpio was my previous ride and it served me pretty well for close to 4 years.

Mahindra XUV comes fully loaded with the powerful yet fuel efficient mHawk140 direct injection diesel engine with 5th generation Variable Geometry Turbo charger (VGT), a 2179cc rugged powerful engine that delivers 140 bhp of power at 3750 rpm. It’s a like a hulk residing under the hood. Pickup is simply phenomenal and car runs like a leopard, high on pace, great maneuverability, easy and sharp on turns. Tyres are broad to provide good comfortable ride on almost every dirty terrain and suspension is good enough but on the bumpy forest roads the rear compartment vibrates. I complained about it and they say it’s not a problem with XUV and may be suspension needs to be checked to figure out the glitch. I hope it would be rectified soon.
