Maruti 800 stopped working in the middle of the road in a pool of water

Pros : clear visibility

Cons : Not recommended to drive in rainy season as the height of the car is a little low, car stopped working in a pool of water

Hello friends! This is Rajkumar from Gurgaon. I am using the Maruti 800 AC BS III from the last six years. And it has become a routine that I am facing one or the other problem with it in every rainy season. This time the problem was the worst of all. Three days back I was on a very major road in Delhi and was going to my office in a great hurry. It started raining very heavily suddenly and a good amount of water got stored on the road.

Not much distance away from my office there was a deep pool of water stored on road. And as the height of the car is not too high it was more than half drowned in the water and all of a sudden the car stopped. And after so many attempts the car did not show any sign of improvement. And at last I had to lock the car and step out of it in the water only to get wet and dirty and also had to skip an important meeting that day.

Moreover, to add cherry on the cake the feedback from the service centre is not satisfactory at all. It has been three days that the car has been left for repairing and till now the problem has not been fixed. When asked, the servicemen are unable to give a fixed date of delivery. As I have only one vehicle I am facing a hell lot of problem nowadays. I am also planning to change the car this year as the car is giving a very poor performance especially in monsoons.

Confirming the reports, Maruti Suzuki India Managing Director Shinzo Nakanishi said that the company has postponed the launch of the new hatchback with 800cc engine due to the violence at the Manesar facility.
