Maruti 800 still coming, new one want

Pros : cost efficient, good mileage, decent looks

Cons : lesser features

The oldest car sailing company in the Indian Auto Market is Maruti Suzuki which has remained on top in the market with its great effort and hard work. In doing so Maruti 800, its first most innovation has helped it a lot which is now back in the segment with the upgraded looks and features of today’s world and this upgraded version is having a great boon in the market. My name is Sonal Singh and I am from Ahemdabad. I already have Maruti 800 the older version. But now I am planning to get on the upgraded version of Maruti 800. It is out in 2 variants. One having AC and one is non AC. Maruti 800 STD BS III is non AC variant.

Starting with the engine, it is powered by 796 cc of 4 strokes water cooled SOHC 12 valve petrol engine which is good enough to churn out a decent power of 37 BHP @ 5000 RPM and the torque of 59 Nm @ 2500 RPM. The only minus point is that the engine is of BS III norms which doesn’t allow it to be used up in the 13 metro cities. Being coupled with the 4 speed manual transmission it exhibits a good fuel economy. On city road it put outs the mileage of 17.5 km per liter and on highways it goes up to 22.1 km per liter.

Coming to the features of comfort it may disappoint you. The car doesn’t even support the basic features like AC, power steering, power windows, centre locking etc. But this is the reason of so much low budget of the car. Though these are not into the package, yet they can be added on into the car after purchase.
