There is a coolant level dropping problem in new Astar automatic since i purchased it.

Pros : good car to drive in city traffic

Cons :

I purchased the Astar AT In March 2012 .Since I took the delivery of the car I found that the coolant level drops even for 8-10 kms drive. The matter informed to the dealer immediately ,at first he only  topped up the level ,afterwards changed the radiator  but still the problem persists.The car has been taken to workshop thrice for the same problem ,they have carried out all leakage tests,but ,the fault could not be detected. The fault seems  to be a manufacturing defect..The car is still at dealer's workshop for further investigations.
