Hello from my side to all friends. Since last two years we were planning to buy a new small car. As the earlier second hand Maruti 800 that we purchased 3 years back was not of great deal as we brought it on the costlier side. And from last 4 to 5 months some or the other spare part use to get worn out and required replacement. So I decided to go with Maruti Alto 800 LXI Airbag variant. Specifically this variant because my mom is very much concerned about my safety, hence she insisted me to go for this safety variant.

The design and lines on the outside of the car are very attractive. The new blackened-like headlights and very good looking tail lights at the back makes a feel good factor. The interior space has increased in the new alto no doubt about that and it can also accommodate 5 people. But still the leg room and knee room feel area at rear feels cramped. I always wanted to go for the factory fitted LPG kit, and Maruti Alto 800 was my last hope, but it was also launched with CNG fuel, which is not available in our small city.

Now it has been around 2 months since I have purchased this new car and it is returning me impressive mileage of about 12-14 kmpl in city, first service is due at this point. Although I have not tested it on the long drives, but I can bet it will return with some amazing numbers. As per the Maruti service center in-charge this new alto will surely deliver anything around or above 20 kmpl after its first service. Let’s see what is the outcome after initial service, expectations are very much…fingers crossed.
