Old but still going strong- Maruti Alto LXI green

Pros : compact appearance, low on price, good mileage

Cons : lack of numerous safety features

I have a Maruti Alto LX Green model. It has been more than two years that I have bought this car. The Indian car market has been showing great progress and many new models have been launched in this duration of time. I am surely happy with my Alto, but it would be nice if the company plans up to upgrade the model.

I don’t have the budget to buy any of the fancy cars that are being sold in the market today. Therefore, a ray of hope would be to launch an upgraded model of Alto, as it is my as well as half of the country’s favorite car. I would certainly be happy if Maruti Suzuki launches a new upgraded model of Alto. However, as per what I have heard in the news, Maruti Alto 800 would be launched during Diwali 2012. Let’s see, if the company launches it with a good price tag. Currently my Maruti Alto Green LX Green gives out a mileage of 18.9kmpl and has air conditioner with heater for the comfort.
