My affordable Maruti Alto K10 LXI

Pros : high mileage, good air conditioning system, powerful engine

Cons : less legroom in the rear seat

Greetings to one and all. I am Ritesh from Jamshedpur. I come from a lower middle class family. I have a wife and two children. I work for a businessman as his secretary. As we all know the importance of having a four wheeler in today’s time as it is safer for the family and makes a prominent statement where ever you go in it. My concern and the reason for buying a car were the safety of my family and the affordability of the vehicle. A high mileage of a car is really a very important requirement for me as the fuel prices are constantly going up and I don’t feel that there is any chance of it decreasing significantly.

And for my money I chose Maruti Suzuki as it has been a very reliable company and hence with a very good reputation in the Indian car market. After the enormous success of their Maruti 800 the company came up with another car in the small car segment. The car was Maruti Alto. Like the 800 Alto also made an important place in the small car segment with its numerous features mainly related to comfort. The higher variants of this car are loaded with features. And the Maruti Alto K10 variant is a very affordable and reasonable one. The initial price tag of the car has already kept things quite easy on my pocket.

Starting off with the exteriors of the car, I should say that they are very neat and clean. The car is certainly very well proportioned accompanied by headlamps placed very prominently in the front. The door handles although are not body colored but they come with a matt black finish which compliment the overall looks of the car very nicely. On the interiors the car has many important features like a very powerful air – conditioning system, power steering for a smooth experience of driving, front cup holders; remote boot opener and remote fuel lid opener, these features of the car make the whole comfort experience of the car a very smooth and a hassle free indeed.

Under the bonnet, it has a powerful engine that can give an impressive mileage of 15.5 to 20 km per litre. The engine here has been wisely mated with a five speed manual transmission. The car is a perfect purchase for any small family that does not have a very high budget. As the initial purchase price as well as it has a low running cost with the high mileage. I and my family are very much satisfied with this car we own, as it fulfils all our needs.
