Maruti Ertiga – Much better than Innova

Pros : Capacious, comfortable, sporty and practicality

Cons : Some much necessary features are missing in the base variant

Today, I am overwhelmed with joy and excitement as I have bought the latest innovation from Maruti Suzuki i.e. Maruti Ertiga LXI. Life Utility Vehicle, the Ertiga has got almost all the much needed features and comforts that a crossover buyer usually looks for. From outside the car might look bit compact in size, but amazingly the interiors can give a complex feel to a car like Innova. In the first and second cabin, there is ample of leg-room and head-room space and five adults can comfortably accommodate, however in the last row only two people can sit but the leg-room space is slightly lesser than the first two rows.

In terms of driving, Maruti Ertiga LXI is a fabulous product and its 1.4 liter K series VVT petrol engine has got outstanding road stability and handling. Although, I have not yet calculated the exact mileage, but I have been told by the Maruti sales representatives that this car gives practical mileage of 12 – 15 kmpl which I think is better than any other MPVs in the Indian market.

The looks of my car are outstanding gives a sporty feel both to the rider and passengers. However, one thing that I would criticize the Lxi variant is the unavailability of many much necessary features like Power Windows, CD Player and Airbags.

Overall, I would say that the Ertiga is really good roadrunner to buy and I would appreciate the car maker, Maruti for boosting this car with a reliable engine that not only saves money but also gives a feel of off-roader. There are lot more things still to be discovered in this car which I will update.
