Maruti Suzuki, the renowned, highly trusted and a successful name of the Indian car market came out with its new product the Ertiga a couple of months back. The release of the car had been due since sometime and hence many had been waiting for it with high anticipation and expectation. And I have no doubt in announcing that the company has yet again come with a fantastic product. The car has been launched in both the fuel options of petrol and diesel. And today I we will be reviewing the top end diesel version of the car which is stuffed with features, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZDI. This version of the car has a strong as well as it comes with a power packed diesel powered motor which not only gives a good amount of power but it also gives a good mileage. This combination of power and economy is difficult to find in most of the vehicles.

Kicking off with the engine department, the Ertiga is blessed with a power – packed 1.3 litre diesel driven engine of a multi jet DDIS motor which produces a peak power of 90 PS at the rate of 4000 RPM with a maximum torque of 200NM at the rate of 1750 RPM. The five speed manual transmission is smartly coupled with an engine which takes the whole experience to a whole new level. The 20 km high mileage is one the major highpoints of the car.

From the safety point of view also the car is packed with features like airbags for the driver as well as the co-passenger, anti lock braking system with brake assist and brake distribution system.
