Maruti Ritz VDI great for city driving
Pros : Value for money, Space, Comfort
Cons : Narrow tyres, Body roll on highways
At present all diesel cars are very popular in market – be it new car or used car market. Even the resale value of diesel cars is touching great heights. I own a Maruti Ritz VDI and am enjoying the cost benefit of low-priced diesel fuel. I really like the looks of my cute car especially the rear. The car has great headroom and getting in and out of the car is quite easy. Trust me, I am 6 feet but I feel comfortable driving Ritz VDI. The driver seat can be adjusted for height so that I can find a comfortable driving position.
If I start discussing about the engine performance of Maruti Swift VDI, it would be a never ending affair. The DDiS engine delivers a mileage of 16-17 kmpl in city and 20-21 kmpl on highway. Gear shifting is easy with the 5 speed manual transmission. It gives a power of 75 bhp at 4000 rpm and produces a torque of 190 Nm at 2000 rpm. My car touches 60 kmph in 5.9 seconds only. If you are looking for a wonderful diesel car, I would strongly recommend this car. Ritz’s engine is also chosen for the International Engine of the Year in Europe. My car produces very less pollution because it complies with BSIV emission norms. The cabin is very quite during the drive because of low NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) levels. And last but not the least; my hatchback requires very less maintenance. Even if it requires servicing, Maruti service centre is always nearby.
