I am an architect and my work profile includes a lot of driving and that too on all sort of terrains, I have been taking test drives of different diesel sedans to figure out which will suit me best finally my search ended at Maruti’s SX4. At the first glance it looks like a muscular giant, front side is beautifully designed and looks aggressive and bold while rear has the biggest lights that look so beautiful and stylish. Tyres are the broadest (15 inches) in its category and provide good grip over the road.

Engine comes with 1248 cc displacement and generates 90 PS of power at 4000 rpm which is phenomenal. Just a small pedal touch and car is all set to go wild. I am really impressed with the in build quality of the vehicle and it makes me feel powerful and strong. Car grabs the speed very easily and reaches 0-100 in just 17.9 seconds which is great for a diesel car. Mileage is great and offers 19 kms per liter. Maintenance cost is not a matter of concern and after sales service of Maruti is best in class.

Interiors are spacious in the front but the rear legroom is cramped and tall people find it difficult to comfort themselves in the long run. Upholstery used is among the best ones and gives a luxurious car feel. Seats are soft and fluffy and make me feel like my bed. A/C is what I like the most, chills the entire car in like 4 minutes even in the scorching heat of summers.

Overall Maruti’s SX4 is a real highway cruise and a wonderful ride for passionate people who need beauty and the beast all in one soul ready to serve them at best under all circumstances.
