Maruti SX4: A perfect sedan at right cost

Pros : Good mileage, luxury features, easy to drive

Cons : Vibrations in Clutch Plate and Pressure Plate, Central lock problem

I have driven 3000 Kms on my Maruti SX4 Vxi, bought on 8 September 2010- so almost two years ago. I find this car is perfect balanced car in the segment. Operationally there are no trouble and finally seeks to say that Maruti has come up with a car that can give good competition to sedan’s in India capable to offer which you want in a premium sedan. Since buying I am getting the mileage of 12 kmpl in summers and around 14 kmpl in winters. Acceleration is too mindblowing and there is no starting problem in winters. People who complain about SX4's poor mileage actually they have driving defects because a proper mileage comes from right driving factors so, they have to follow the instructions mentioned in user manual.

In my knowledge it looks prefect due to good control at very high speed around 140-150 which is the best part of high ground clearance for Indian rigid roads when compared to other same category car models a-la City and Vento. But I have faced issues with vibrations in Clutch Plate and Pressure Plate as well as central locking guns so far it seems manufacturing defects. Leave these three problems I found my SX4 perfect to me. Right now my car runs just fine....:)
