Maruti SX4, Beast Within Yet Tamed

Pros : Stronger exterior coat, massive engine configuration, masculine look, praiseworthy pick up and large fuel holding capacity

Cons : poor mileage delivery, not easy to handle, heavily priced yet integrated with manual transmission

I work as a marble merchant in Ajmer and I have to visit remote places near my home town very frequently. I purchased Maruti SX4 six months back. I am satisfied with its performance and powerful approach but, this car does not carry a class-apart talent that it is priced so alarmingly. I do not deny with the available features with this car but the manual transmission that is holds is age old and does not fascinate me now.

Nevertheless, there is no question about the incredible engine set up which is a 16V DOHC, VVT petrol engine of 1586 cc that has great power and torque limits. Moving on the highway pleases me as good mileage and pickup makes the journey hassle free with a stretch of 18.1 kmpl average on highways but on the other hand restricts to 14.1 kmpl on the city lanes. I keep on guessing the reason it is made as heavy like an elephant as this makes it low in performance and not easily maintainable.
