Maruti SX4 Leather –Unbeatable and impeccable

Pros : Great looks, Interior, Durability and fuel economy

Cons : pick up and gear shift knob vibration

Two years of purchase and touch wood, my Maruti SX4 ZXI MT Leather is still the same for me, no damage and increased fuel efficiency. I was not at all expecting that a company like Maruti Suzuki would be able to introduce such a classy car for the Indian sedan lovers. Blessed with full leather upholstery, the Maruti SX4 ZXI MT leather looks gorgeous from inside. I really feel comfortable when I hold the leather grip and the inner door leather trims makes me feel that I am riding a luxury saloon. In addition, I find my car has got some fabulous utility features like Power windows, Automatic Climate Control, Anti-lock Braking System with EBD, Dual front airbags, iCATS security system, Child safety locks etc.

Mileage as per the petrol vehicle standards is good and it gives around 13 km/l in city conditions and 15 km/l on highways. The SX4 possess well carved out exteriors and the quality is also the tough one. However, I am disappointed with this car in terms of performance. Despite half of the acceleration, the pick up of this car is somewhat disappointing compared to cars like Fiat Linea and Nissan Sunny.

In my point of view, the company could have poised the engine with additional power so as to make it more competitive in its segment. While I change the gear from 2nd to 3rd gear, the gear-box has lot of stiffness and the gear shift knob vibrates much. I don’t think that this would be the case in every SX4 car.

Though my cars suffers from few problems but even that its something beyond Excellency and one would for sure love to own it and smash it on roads.
