A real successor of the legendary Maruti Zen

Pros : Fuel Economy, Low Maintenance, Space, Looks, style and Maruti’s trust

Cons : Very congested and not good for long drive, less powerful and inherit less features as compared to other cars in the same segment

I took test drive of the all new Maruti Zen Estilo, successor of the most trusted product from Maruti next to the legendary Maruti 800 and here are my findings about it.   

As we all know Maruti Suzuki is well known for serving old wine in new bottles. The same is done with this Estilo. They packed it with the soul of A-star.  After the launch of super flop cars by Maruti "A-star" and "Ritz" it became a matter of a big tension for our countries legendary car manufacturer and king of small car bracket, that how to hold up their reputation in market. As a result they have re-launched each and every car in their shed in an all new look but new Estilo really lacks that appeal and attracting quality the old mama has.

About Estilo, overall it’s a nice car, AC is very effective and noisy too. The new pin technology for gear shift is not that nice. There is not even a single safety feature other than airbag in all the available variants. Interiors are fabulous. Chocolate and beige tone gives a great look and luxury to car. It is damn true that Estilo is the best car under this segment (300000-400000). We have Maruti s trust and the best resale value. If we compare Estilo with Santro or Spark, take Hyundai for example their parts are so costly and the vehicles too. On the other hand spark, what if GM decides to cease its manufacturing then how will parts be made available, this is the only answer to spark. I took test drives of all the three cars but frankly saying I had never seen such a smart suspension which is provided by Estilo, so as per me, it’s a best family vehicle available.
