Nissan Micra the new mini car in market from Nissan is a pretty good, but lacks some important features. The car is good in performance, and looks but at the same time lacjs space.

Exteriors:
Nissan has given the car a European look. The large toy like headlamps and large air dam makes the front fascia more attractive. The fog lamps could have designed better. The large rear windscreen could be practical while parking.

Interiors:
The interior styling is playful and cute. The funky control knobs are round and big. Nissan has carried forward steering wheel and instrument panel from previous gen Micra but it looks cheap and lacks the upmarket feel. The car has got a impressive AC and the seat are comfortable. Headroom and legroom have adequate space.

Engine:
Nissan Micra is powered with 3 cylinder 12 valve; DOHC gasoline engine which powers Micra generates 76PS @ 6000rpm. The power delivery is very linear and vibration is minimal. On the flipside the engine is noisy. The ‘V’ platform on which Micra is built-on is weight optimised to suit better city driving and higher fuel efficiency.  

Fuel Efficiency:
Nissan Micra gives pretty good mileage of 12 kmpl in city and 17 kmpl on highways.

Safety:
Anti-lock brakes, stability control and six airbags come as standard, which is quite impressive for a super mini in this price range.

Conclusion:
The Nissan Micra offers very low running costs, along with a low list price and it has a reasonable amount of safety equipment for the money.
