A disguised, improved and pleasing to the senses Micra
Pros : Bold smart and elegant looks, good fuel efficiency, marvelous piece of engineering and a tough competitor to Honda Brio and Maruti Swift
Cons : Too pricy and looks are very similar to Nissan’s Micra
Renault’s first debut car as an independent manufacturer is welcomed with warm regards and they have witnessed good excitement coming in from all corners. Finally they have something in bucket that is best in class in its segment and can excite any car lover who is looking for a fully equipped luxurious hatchback that looks sporty and no room for any further amendments. It can rightly be called as the all new improved Micra as it resembles it at the very first glance however a closer look will defog the preconceived notion and you will surely admire the distinct beauty.
Renaults and Nissan’s international tie up has resulted in the number of world class products and Nissans success in the Indian market has provoked a flame that helped Renault to build something that is at the apex of its beauty and encompasses all the necessary features like airbags, steering mounted audio controls, leathery upholstery, powerful engine, soft suspension, wide tyres, good boot, 5 people accommodating space and last but not the least inbuilt Renault’s trust for the long term commitment of good service.
Pulse comes with the powerful yet fuel efficient 1461cc diesel engine that runs 14km/ltr in city and 17km/ltr on highways. I took test drive to get to know more about it and after a drive of close to 25 kms, I finally made my mind making it my new conveyance however the only glitch is the high price it fetches but that too seems to be recoverable. A heads off to a good product and I will stay tuned to see some more astonishing cars coming in from Renault.
