It’s a new improved disguised Micra with a new name and personality
Pros : Good looks, smart appearance, a style icon, good fuel economy and is an extract of Renault’s world class engineering and knowledge of Indian market
Cons : Too similar to the cousin Micra in external appearance and interior layout
Renault who is better known as the Renault Nissan throughout the world has launched its first hatchback with a single entity. It’s been quite a long time and with the advent of Renault in collaboration with Mahindra they have made it clear that they have intentions to explore the Indian market and their good market research techniques have resulted in the development of adoring “Pulse”, which can rightly be said as the extract of the Renaults world class experience in the manufacturing of small cars.
Renault Nissan alliance is well known for some of the world’s best in class vehicles and after the success of Nissan’s Micra, Renault has recently launched its first singly developed car “Pulse” at Delhi Auto Expo. It looks very similar to Micra however a close look reveals the difference between the two. Pulse is more refined and stylish than Micra. Smooth glossy finish, even panel gaps and lustrous shining paint all makes it a magic spell that no one is able to come out from.
Interiors are all similar to Micra and the only difference is in badge which is Renault all around. Instrument cluster, front console and basic interior layout lack the refreshing feel but it is more elegant and stylish. Space will not be an issue and company has given good boot space for long drive lovers. A big style icon has amazed the Indian car market and will do marvels in our economy of ever increasing fuel prices as its fuel efficiency is remarkable that is 18-23 kmpl with diesel engine.
