Renault Pulse – happy with my choice

Pros : Excellent mileage, minimal engine noise, almost instant acceleration

Cons : Rear profile isn’t impressive, resembles Nissan Micra from front, not packed with all safety features

With huge Renault logo and in red color, my Renault Pulse Diesel RxL is an on-looker on road. The 1461 cc, 1.5L, K9K diesel engine of the car delivers 64PS power (better than other diesel versions of polo and fabia), makes less noise and gives a mileage between 19-23 kmpl. The gears change swiftly as well.

Though it looks much like Nissan Micra, the color options and interior settings set Renault Pulse poles apart from that car. I think, it’s bigger and better with plush interiors. The RxL variant is offered in red and dark red interiors that I absolutely loved and fetched the car instantly.

The seats are also very comfortable with enough legroom though it is a compact hatchback. The dash, center console and tachometer etc, has many new features. The rear view and side mirrors can be adjusted from the inside which adds a premium touch to this otherwise simple and plain hatchback. The ride quality is also high-class whether I am driving in city or on highway.

My final words about this Micra, look-alike is that it is different, has better features, mileage and performance. The front looks are the most attractive and justify my choice completely.
