Just another Micra with the disguised Interiors
Pros : Stylish finishing, good looks, pleasing interiors and last but not the least it bags the best of French engineering
Cons : Looks are very similar to Nissan’s Micra and cost is pretty exorbitant for the offerings
have always been a great admirer of French engineering. Skoda is doing marvelous in our economy and with the advent of world class technology they are turning gear of the Indian Automobile Industry. Renault is trying rigorously to firmly establish in the Indian market they started with Mahindra. Logan was the debut model and since then they have been fighting for their share. Now they have come up with an independent identity “Pulse”. Its success is yet to be seen but the initial response is exhilarating.
Pulse at the very first glance reminds me of Nissan’s Micra but a closer look gives an entirely different feel. It looks much sharper and stylish than the nearest cousin. Front grill is more elegant and the overall exteriors are if not refreshing, is on the better side portraying a best combination of the available technology. Same color door panels and indicator mounted side glasses is just another feature.
Interiors are redesigned and are typical of the French classy vehicles. Amply spacious front with stylish instrument cluster and all the modern amenities assembled in a single piece. Back is sufficiently spaced with good legroom and boot space provided is sufficient enough for a small family. I love the driving aspect of the vehicles; it is as soft as butter and gear shift is very smooth and firm. Car turns like rocket and even driving at 140 is a matter of no concern. It’s a new car and I am not well versed with the after sales service of Renault but dealer’s confidence has boosted my trust further. It is quite aggressively priced but I still love to bag it as my new ride.
