Diesel engine rocking in Renault Scala
Pros : diesel engine, superb mileage, good looks and comfortable interiors
Cons : lack of automatic climate control
Renault Scala sedan has been impressing me since the time it was announced and now that it has been launched, I am sure that I will be buying the diesel variant of Renault Scala. The base diesel variant of the sedan called Renault Scala Diesel RXL is the one I am planning to buy. The car has quite efficient diesel engine that is capable of producing high power and the fuel economy figure goes up to 21.6kmpl. This mileage figure is certainly good and would help not to burn a hole in my pocket after the purchase. The five speed manual transmission is also smooth as far as I have heard till now.
The sedan appearance is also nice. I saw it in the showroom, believe me it is certainly better and good looking than the other premium sedans that are available in the market today. The front end of the car is really appealing and the rear has a very strong and muscular look. On the whole, I would give the exteriors of Renault Scala RXL a thumbs-up. Even on the inside, the sedan doesn’t disappoint you. The interiors of the car are loaded with all kinds of comfort features. I love the beige color that has been used in the inside. The air conditioner is powerful and comes with manual climate control. The leather upholstery is not present, but the fabric one is of extremely high quality. The multi functional steering wheel looks nice and the power windows are smooth as well. I hope the overall performance of the car would be as nice as its appearance and interiors. Hopefully, this sedan will be in my garage this month.
