Skoda Fabia - does not meet my expectations
Pros : Sporty looks, eye-turner, noise free cabin- because good petrol engine
Cons : Mileage is poor, way too expensive
This is really heart-breaking news. Skoda Fabia 1.2 L petrol variant has come out at an over exaggerated price of almost 7 lakhs. I am Swadesh Rohilla from Rohtak. It has been long time since I was driving a Hyundai Santro. Now that I wanted to buy a new premium hatchback, the news of launch of Skoda Fabia Scout excited me a lot. I was so badly waiting for this car to launch. Actually I am a big Skoda fan. I have spent 3 years abroad and know the kind of reputation Skoda cars enjoy worldwide. But I just wanted a hatchback because they are easy to maneuver in the city. Looks and safety-wise, I think that no other hatchback could have stood against Fabia but considering that also, I feel that it is really pricey. I mean 7 lakhs for a small car is way to more.
I mean a hatchback with 5 speed manual transmission and just the standard safety features as dual airbags, protective cladding and ABS should not be so expensive. Just for great looks that Skoda Fabia obviously sport, this is way to high price, really!
I may buy a Hyundai i20 now. Can’t afford Fabia but more importantly don’t find it worth the high price. Its mileage and resale value is also not going to be fit in Indian context. It will miserably fail.

The diesel engine in this car is a powerful machine that brings utmost mechanical thrust response along with marvelous fuel efficiency.

ReplyI wanted to buy a hatchback in the coming time but could not decide the best for me as the automobile showrooms in India are flooded with small cars these days.
