Skoda Laura is a perfect luxury saloon

I own a franchise of Mc Donald’s which is located close to South Ex, Bengali market, New Delhi. I bought the luxury sedan Skoda Laura diesel Ambiente last year in the month of August. I stay in Karol Bagh which is far from South Ex and takes me a lot of time to reach Mc Donald’s amid thick traffic which makes it more tiring for me to drive. Anyway, when I was thinking to buy Skoda Laura, I made sure to go for a diesel version as it gives better fuel efficiency. The sedan is powered with a 2.0 litre, TDI diesel engine that pumps out a maximum power of 81 kW at 4200 Rpm and a peak torque of 250 Nm at 1500-2500 Rpm. The 1968 cc diesel motor is mated to a manual transmission that delivers a fuel economy of 12.6 kmpl in city conditions and a whopping mileage of 16.6 kmpl on highways.

Mileage of Skoda Laura Ambiente is good enough, specially on highways, but in city conditions it not impressive, I do not drive it on highways more often as I usually drive in city only. The sedan propels from 0 to100 kmph in just 11.2 seconds which is great, Laura can also attain a maximum speed to 190 kmph. Laura comes equipped with a powerful air conditioner, power steering, power windows both in front and rear, cup holders in front and rear, remote trunk/ boot opener, remote fuel lid opener, alloy wheels, CD player, driver airbag, front passenger airbag, anti-lock brake system and central locking.

Price of the sedan is fine if we look at the features it offers, among the other luxury sedans present in India, I found this one the most astonishing be it looks or features. Skoda Laura Ambiente has roomier interiors and exteriors are impressive too. It offers ample leg space which makes the ride comfortable during long journeys. Laura offers great comfort and is worth every penny, if you are looking for a luxury sedan in the range of Rs 15 lakh to Rs 16 lakh then this is the perfect choice for you.
