Skoda Rapid needs modernization

Pros : Nice exteriors, decent performance

Cons : a huge loss in terms of styling and comfort

Hi everyone! My name is Deeksha and I live in Allahabad. I wanted a luxury car for myself as I was bored of my hatchback which I was using since last 5 years. Other reason was the extra comforting and stylish character of the car which makes it a sedan.

But I had to face a huge disappointment after buying Skoda Rapid Ambition AT. Thought this car has got stylish exteriors and eye catchy appearance but the comfort level is the complete downfall aspect of the car. With its lesser features and high price it has simply lost the trust for the company. The absence of entertainment package which should be present in the sedan develops no interest in users to enjoy its interiors. With the fact that the car is lesser spacious, I don’t prefer to take it on long journeys with my family. The extra maintenance it costs due to some outdated parts indulged in its making is such a pain for me.

Skoda Rapid Petrol Ambition AT is worst when it comes to the seating comfort and its entertainment package. The sedan is one of the mostly seen cars in the Indian market and this is due to the brand under which it is manufactured. This was the reason I even bought it.

The convenience is lacked in its ever feature with the absence of power adjustable ORVMs, Multi functioning steering wheel, Digital clock, Outside Temperature Display, adjustable headlamps, Automatic Climate Control and much more. The safety of the occupants is at risk with airbags only on driver’s side. Absence of parking sensors makes it very unsafe for the driver to park the sedans when actually there is a short of space.
