Tata Manza is a perfect sedan and easy to maintain

Pros : Roomier interiors, attractive exteriors, impressive mileage

Cons : Lack of airbags

There are too many options out there in the Indian car industry in the sedan segment but I was looking for a fuel economic, car that was good in delivering performance, had good looks and was easy to maintain. I browsed through various sites to search as to which car is better for me, since petrol car was not an option I had to search for a good diesel car.  Few cars did come across my attention like Toyota Etios, Maruti Swift (old version) etc, and then I read about Tata Manza, I searched on its variants and zeroed in on Tata Manza Aura ABS BS IV trim. Powered with a 1248cc, 1.3 litre, Qudrajet, common rail diesel engine that pumps out a power of 90 PS at 4000 Rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque at 1750-3000 Rpm. The engine is mated to a manual transmission that offers a fuel economy of 14.5 kmpl in city conditions and a fuel efficiency of 18.8 kmpl on highways.

The sedan car sprint from 0-100 kmph in 15.2 seconds and attains a top speed of 163 kmph. Features like anti lock brake system, air conditioner and power windows both front and rear are present in the sedan. I have to drive to Delhi every week from Jaipur due to work, earlier a lot of money was being wasted in petrol but now my fuel expenditure has become half.  Interiors are very impressive and offer a lot of space, five people can very comfortably sit inside the car. CD player comes in built in the sedan alloy wheels are not offered which is not that important it just adds a gloss to the sedan. In my four months of experience I simply loved riding this car specially on highways. I would refer this sedan to those who are looking for a frugal sedan that is easy to maintain.
