Tata Manza : Efficient but not an attractive machine
Pros : Good interior fit & finish, exciting features, commendable fuel efficiency and capacious cabins
Cons : Looks are not much attractive
Hello !! I am Neeraj Sharma from Jalandhar, Punjab. I bought Tata Manza ELAN Safire petrol in March, 2010. I am very happy to be the owner of this Tata sedan sensation. I was been told that the interiors of Tata Manza are extremely poor and I completely disagree with those who say so. I find the fit and finish of Tata Manza much better than Maruti Swift Dzire and Mahindra Renault.
As far as the fuel efficiency of this car is considered, I would say that this car is damn good. The efficient 1.4 liter petrol engine of my Manza delivers 10 in city and 14 kmpl on highways, which is not bad fuel economy stat. I can comfortably travel with 5 passengers in this car due to good interior cabin space. The long length of my Manza gives passengers to stretch legs. The cargo volume of the car is also good as I could easily fit four large suit cases in my Manza’s boot space.
In terms of driving, I will say the car is all perfect and I have attained top speed of 144 km/h, while I drove on highways. The stability and balancing of Manza is so-so as compared to Swift Dzire, but far better than Mahindra Renault, but yes the acceleration is very good. One problem I find in the Manza cars is of their shabby appearance. The looks of Manza are not at all good. From the rear view the vehicle is bit lifted and looks boxy. If the looks of this car can be changed, this car can beat Maruti Swift Dzire in sales.
