Tata Nano Diesel: Aah not sure whether a small diesel engine will make it or not.
Pros : Looks are decent; average will be higher with the diesel engine, lowest turning radius and a best city wagon of all time
Cons : small tyres and tacky material used to build exteriors
Tata Nano, the car which made dreams of all the middle class families come true and become well known in the whole world for the price tag it holds ever since its launch it has been doing great apart from some misfortunate fire cases, it has proved its marvels and Tata witnessed the record sales of the small mischievous car not only in India but throughout the world. Tata is trying its level best to keep it as per the modern standards and they have finally decided to launch it with a diesel engine.
Nano is the cheapest car in terms of money but richest in terms of performance and offerings and is nothing short of a good city performer that provides great ease at driving and has least turning radius. Fuel efficiency is good and it will further increase with the diesel engine. Space inside is good enough to accommodate 5 people. Interiors are spacious and comfortable. Driving is very easy, steering is soft and gear shift is firm and smooth. Tyres are small and sometimes it hits speed breakers. Suspension is good.
I like the idea of bringing a diesel variant and it’s warmly welcomed but we have to see how they will manage power. Car is noisy enough in petrol and the new engine will surely increase it. I am keen on looking the all new Nano and will test drive it to explore my knowledge. I am sure if mighty Tata’s are coming up with something it would be best in class. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and see what Indian market is witnessed to see another breakthrough and another milestone for sure.
