Tata Nano : No safety and full threat for the riders

Pros : Mileage and the cost is less

Cons : No safety features, poor pick up, poor interiors and pathetic driving

Hello !!! My name is Shekhar Sharma. I belong to the land of places, Lucknow. I have come across with many pathetic experiences with the “Key of happiness”, Tata Nano. I bought Tata Nano at the time when its launch was on hipe. Earlier, I was proud that I was amongst the initial Tata Nano buyers but later on I realized that buying Nano without test driving it was a big mistake from my part.

 
I got the delivery of Tata Nano Lx (top end variant) in January 2010, while I drove it, I felt as if I was driving auto rickshaw. Although, the engine of Nano is of just 0.6 liter, but its loud noise bothers me much. Despite of full acceleration there is very less move in the vehicle, which clearly shows its instability and poor performance. Interiors of this car damn poor. The seats of Tata Nano would remind you of roadways buses. The dash board is another horror factor in the car as its quality is damn pathetic.


The only pros I noticed in the car are its fuel economy and lesser price. But, I would not suggest this garbage stuff to any one even if it is delivered for free. I think that Tata Motors did not pay heed to safety of the riders as well, while designing this car. From the safety point of view this car is a big flop show in India. The quality of metal sheet used in it totally sucks and features like ABS, Airbags or Brake Assist are nowhere in this car.
