Safari is made for off-road enthusiasts
Pros : ground clearance, engine power, look, comfort
Cons : mileage
hi I am Naveen and I own a Tata Safari Dicor LX BS III variant. The drive of this SUV is totally different and amazing compared to the drive of other competing cars like Scorpio. It has got a 2.2 liter DICOR engine that has got fuel economy of 9 – 12 kmpl, which I guess is less the competitors. While driving on highways you can feel the vibrant engine power. The ground clearance is good and the side stepper eases the entry into the car. There is a rear spare wheel which adds sportiness in the car. I would recommend this car to those who are damn passionate to run on road and off road.
I have also heard that the new Safari Storme is going to be launched in India by end of the month. I would also like to exchange my present Safari Dicor with the upcoming Safari Storme.

Yes safari is good in SUV segment but as compared to Scorpio I don't think it is having powerful engine as Scorpio.
