Best SUV in the segment
Pros : Good pricing, decent design, very easy to drive, high ground clearance and good fuel efficiency
Cons : Poor on styling, carrying the same looks for the last 10 years and customers are bored of it
I have been driving Tata Sumo for the last 10 years and it’s been great on road all the time. I live in a suburb area of Madhya Pradesh and in order to carry my monthly supplies I need a good multi utility vehicle and it’s the best of all I have got. It's very spacious from inside and ready to show up the high build in quality all the times. I usually drive on the damp, muddy, ill faced roads and it never let me down and always served me at best.
Exteriors are good and impresses me every time I touch the vehicle, designing is good. Company has taken good care of the looks and is made as per Indian customer preference. Tyres are broad and provides good grip over the road I have never seen any incident of its slipping over the road. Suspension is great and keeps the inside very smooth and vibration free. The only thing I am worried about is the exteriors, they are almost same for like 10 years ago now with no remarkable change and it is one of the reason why my adoring Sumo is losing its reputation in the SUV market, people have almost forget about it.
Interiors are very spacious and are designed keeping passenger’s comfort in mind. Material used to build dashboard is not of very fine quality and degrades the interior beauty however the ride quality compensates well for it and is very easy and wonderful to drive even on speeds like 80 or 90. Space in all the three rows is great and you can comfort yourself in any sphere. Overall it’s a wonderful drive to own.
