2017 Force Gurkha: A Glimpse
Name of Force Gurkha is not new to motor enthusiasts who prefer to drive powerful vehicles enriched with rugged looks. Recently the generation next Gurkha has been introduced in Indian car market with option of 5 doors (Xpedition) and 3 door (Xplorer). Although the feedback about its performance will be revealed in coming months but with its launch the Gurkha has already grabbed the attention of enthusiasts because of new updates introduced in it. The major update is integration of new engine line-up that is BSIV compliant and contemporary updates on the exterior and interiors.

Anyhow let us have a look on the major features of generation next Force Gurkha
:
Engine: Under the hood it receives 2.6 litre turbocharged intercooled diesel engine that generates the power of 85 HP and torque of 230Nm. It is mated with G-28 five speed manual transmission system and is endorsed to deliver an impressive fuel efficiency average of 17 kmpl by both the Xpedition and Xplorer variants. With the top speed of 140 kmph the new Force Gurkha is capable of touching the notch 100 kmpl in the span of 17 seconds.

Interior Features: Although the new Gurkha continues with the existing interiors but still to make it look different from its existing version it undergoes minor tweaks in form of steering wheel which now is four-spoke steering wheel, the interior space has also been enhanced with new designer floors. The comfort features available inside the cabin are sleek digital clock along with topper pad, separate holders for cups and bottles, rear window demister, separate steps for front and rear passengers. The high defined instrument cluster provides different types of information in form of exterior and interior temperature, time and date etc. Moving ahead to offer soothing atmosphere inside the cabin during different atmospheres you will find a powerful air conditioner with heating and cooling facility. Similarly to enhance the traveling experience of passengers you will find the seat ratio of 60:40 split. And finally the last but not the last to entertain the passengers it also sports 2-DIN advanced music system mounted at the centre console.
Exterior Features: To give the Gurkha more rugged look along with existing features it also adorns bunch of new features in form of steel bumper at front fascia, faux plates, large wheels and snorkel. The Xpedition trim has ground clearance of 190 mm while Xplorer has the ground clearance of 205mm, with this the 16 inch alloy wheels are capable to offer smooth driving on all terrains without any problem.
