Best Electric Cars To Buy In 2023 With The Longest Range

The days have gone when buyers hesitated in buying electric cars due to their range. But now the scenario has changed. The last two years have witnessed dynamic changes in the buying preferences of buyers. Today, with an increasing shift towards electric vehicles, buyers have now wide options of electric cars in the form of Tata Nexon EV, Hyundai Kona, MG ZS EV, and a few more. However, the potential customers of electric cars are still concerned about range, price and other features. Interestingly, with the increasing number of charging stations within the country and the integration of new technologies buyers are now shifting towards these cars.
 
Encouraged by the move of buyers to electric cars, the makers are now working on introducing new innovative features to improve the performance of their products. This year also, it is speculated that Indian buyers will have some more high-performing electric cars to buy. This blog highlights some high-range offering electric cars to debut in the Indian car market this year.
 
Electric Cars With The Longest Range To Buy In 2023
 
Mahindra XUV400: The upcoming SUV from the domestic car Mahindra & Mahindra is one of the highly awaited electric SUVs in the country. It will come with two battery pack sizes including 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh. These batteries will be powered by an electric motor generating the power of 150 PS and a torque of 310Nm. With a 50 kW Dc charger, the electric SUV can be recharged up to 80 per cent in 50 minutes. It will offer an ARAI-approved range of 456 km on a single charge.
 
It will come loaded with features like a single-pane sunroof, an electronic adjustable and folding ORVM system, a push-button start-stop, and 60 additional features. It will carry a boot space of 378 litres. On the safety front, it will carry features like six airbags, electronic stability control, a rear parking camera, and cornering brake control.
 
Kia EV6: The electric Kia EV6 will come with two driving options including a single-motor-rear-wheel drive boosting the power of 229 PS and a torque of 350 Nm and dual-motor all-wheel-drive generating the power of 325 PS and a torque of 605Nm. It will receive a battery pack of 77.4 kWh. It can be charged up to 80% in 73 minutes using a 50 kW charger. According to the sources of ARAI, it will offer a range of 708 km after a single charge.
 
The list of features offered in the Kia EV6 includes a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, a dual-zone climate control, a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, wireless phone charging, vented and powered front seats, dual curved 12.3-inch touchscreen display, a sunroof and dual-zone climate control. On the safety front, it will come equipped with features eight airbags, ADAS features, an adaptive cruise control system, lane-keep assist and blind spot monitoring, and a few more.
 
 
Tata Nexon: The next generation of Nexon SUV will be powered by a 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery and mated with an electric motor boosting the power of 129 PS and a torque of 245Nm. With a 3.3 kW AC charger, it will take almost 8.5 hours to charge the full battery, and with a 50kW DC fast charger, it will charge up to 80 per cent in 60 minutes. It will offer an average of 437 km on a single charge.
 
As far as the list of features offered in Nexon EV 2023 is concerned the list will include a single-pane sunroof, auto headlights, a seven-inch semi-digital instrument cluster with connected car technology, and also a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The list of other features includes a multi-level regenerative braking system, smartwatch connectivity, and cruise control. The list of safety features includes dual front airbags, ABS+EBD, child seat anchors cornering stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
 
Hyundai Kona: The next generation of Kona EV from the Korean car maker Hyundai Motors will be empowered with a 39.2 kWh battery pack mated with an electric motor generating the power of 136 PS and a torque of 395 Nm. It will touch the speed from a standstill to 100 kmph in 9.7 seconds. It will come with three different charging options including a 50 kW fast charger, a 7.2 kW wall box charger, and a 2.8 kW portable charger. By using a 50 kW charger it can be charged up to 80 per cent in 57 minutes. It will offer an average of 452 km after it is fully charged.
 
The list of features will include automatic air conditioning with rear vents, a sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, wireless phone charging and a few more. There will be four driving modes namely, Eco, Eco+, Comfort and Sport. The list of safety features will include, six airbags electronic stability control, a rear camera, a hill assist system, all-wheel disc brakes and many more.
 
Audi e-Tron GT: Priced between Rs 1.79 crore and Rs 2.0 crore, Audi e-Tron GT will deliver an ARAI-approved average of 500 km on a single charge. It will come equipped with a 93 kWh battery pack and touch the mark of 100 kmph in 4.1 seconds. It will bestow the features like a 12.3-inch digital driver display, wireless charging, a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a wireless charging system. It will also include additional features like a sixteen-speaker audio system, sportier seats, an instrumentation cluster, and red stitching inspired by Audi’s RS cars.
