Honda India has its hand full with a lot of things. First it was launching the Brio hatchback automatic, now Brio sedan and according to the grapevine, Honda is also planning to roll out a brand new and fresh version of its successful sedan, Honda City by the year of 2014. With this launch news, the market air is filled with another rumor, which states that this one will be powered by the 1.6 litre of i-DTEC diesel engine that was recently introduced in Europe.  And what relates this to Honda Brio sedan is that, this one is going to feature a smaller version of 1.6 litre i-DTEC diesel mill. As of now, the car could get a 1.2 litre of i-VTEC petrol engine coupled with the five speed manual gearbox. No green signal has been given to the 1.5 litre diesel motor so far. The automatic variant of Brio sedan is also likely to be rolled out in India in 2013.

Coming back to the Honda Brio sedan image, it boasted its rich looks and stylish curves on the body that appears to be really attractive. Apart from the image, no much of information about the car has been revealed on the website, but the official announcement by Honda about the new Brio sedan could come out anytime soon. Once the car will be launched here, it will give a cutthroat competition to Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, yet to be launched compact Mahindra Verito and Tata Indigo eCS.
