The problem of pollution is not new to the world, in-fact the way in which this problem has affected the global environment of world during last two decades is not hidden from anyone. The first reason which at first instance seems to be responsible for the origin of this problem is the pollution developing from the vehicles that are running on the roads today. Although various efforts have been made by the governments of different countries to get the rid of this problem, but those efforts have proved like showing a candle to the sun.
Going through all these problems most of the countries have encouraged the use of electronic cars which despite of cost effective also deliver improved mileage efficiency. Interestingly like other countries of the world car makers in Indian car market are also keeping watch on the changing scenario and interestingly performing quite satisfactory as the renowned car manufacturers in the International market. In this regard it would be important to mention the name of domestic car maker Mahindra & Mahindra which since 1994 has been working on development of electronic vehicles in collaboration Maini Group of Bangalore and AEV LLC of USA and launched its first electronic car in Indian car market back in 2001 christened as Mahindra Reva which in later years was renamed as Mahindra e2o Plus. At present it has three electronic vehicles under its flagship namely Mahindra e2o plus, Mahindra eVerito and Mahindra eSupro (to be launched in coming years).
Introduction to Mahindra and Mahindra: Name of Mahindra and Mahindra doesn’t require any introduction to introduce itself in the world of car industry. The group made its entrance in business world during the pre-independence year back in 1945, when it was set established as a steel manufacturing company by Mahindra duos K.C. Mahindra and J.C. Mahindra and Malik Ghulam Mohammed. After separation in 1947 Gulam Mohammed stood in Pakistan and became the first Finance Minister of the country and name of group was changed to Mahindra & Mahindra in 1948 and since then the group never looked back and kept on progressing and today it is recognized as one of the leading car manufacturing company across the world.
