Mahindra Quanto launched: Price, spec and features
Hold your breath…here comes the sizzling hot SUV Mahindra Quanto all set to rock the compact SUV segment in the country. The car will be rubbing shoulders with Renault Duster, Premier Rio and soon to join in Ford Ecosport and Maruti XA Alpha. The Mahindra Quanto price in India has been kept at Rs 5.82 lakh for the entry level Quanto C2 model and Rs 7.36 lakh for the Quanto top end C8 model.
Powered by a 1.5 L mCR100, 100PS, 240 Nm engine, the new Mahindra SUV is expected to be the talk of the town soon. Also, the price will help further push the sales to new heights and it is expected that it will outshine even premium hatchback sales.

The Quanto length has been kept under four meter to qualify it for tax concession and thus making it more affordable for the car buyers in the country. It is also has a smaller engine and the mileage if 17.21 kmpl which is quite impressive in the segment. The new Mahindra SUV could also impact Maruti Ertiga sales as Mahindra cars are close rivals of Maruti cars and Quanto has the genes of Mahindra Xylo and thus MUV styling and it has got much space inside in inheritance.

Mahindra has launched four models viz. Quanto C2 which is the base model, and the Quanto C8 is the top model that has an array of comfort and safety features. The car maker has kept the C2 version as basic so that it can be in reach of every car buyer in the country and those wish to buy a reasonably large SUV or MUV or even MPV will be interested in the Quanto. Also, its fuel efficiency will be able to give a lead in the segment and hopefully the car could become a segment leader in the coming future.
