Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza V/S Ford EcoSport and Hyundai Creta
The recent launch of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza by country’s leading car maker MSIL has not only received an explosive welcome by Indian car enthusiasts with more than 5.6 K bookings in two days after its launch, but has also given fire to a debate to determine which is the best compact SUV existing in Indian car market. It would be interested to know that last couple of years has witnessed huge demand of compact SUV’s in India inspiring all major car makers to make entry in this segment. As an impact of this today we find new compact SUV’s coming at regular intervals by major car makers, this can be witnessed in form of Hyundai Creta, Mahindra TUV300 and now Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
Although the trend of shift towards compact SUV’s began with launch of Duster by French car maker Renault which was further followed by Terrano from Nissan and EcoSport by Ford which succeeded in receiving an over whelming response from customers. Today going through the cut throat competition in segment we are making an attempt to compare between three major compact SUV’s Vitara Brezza, Creta and Ford EcoSport.

Dimensions: Although identically both EcoSport and Vitara Brezza look same at first instance but on measuring it is noticed that length of EcoSport of 4mm longer than Brezza. With this EcoSport also has 20mm longer wheel base than Vitara Brezza. Although Vitara Brezza has broader width but EcoSport again wins the battle when it comes to comparing the boot space. EcoSport has 18 litre additional boot space as against Vitara Brezza.

Inside the cabin: With multi functional central console and enlarged seats EcoSport at first instance seems to be congested but despite of this it is blessed with features like Syn voice command, emergency assist function, and also side and curtain air bags for top end variant. On the other side although Vitara Brezza does not sport any eye catching interiors but spacious cabin and good finishing make its interiors and state of art for the passengers. The top end variant is equipped with large touchscreen system, reverse camera and navigation system. An interesting feature offered in Vitara Brezza is integration of Apple CarPlay system. Vitara Brezza sports drive side airbag as standard feature, followed by facility of integrating ABS and passenger air bags as optional. Interestingly both the vehicles are blessed with start stop and key less entry feature.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza V/S Hyundai Creta: Talking about the interiors Creta will definitely win the race, however when compared to their exteriors both the cars almost share the same dimensions. The only thing which could attract buyers towards Vitara Brezza is name of MSIL and its price which as compared to Creta are quite competitive.
It can be said that all these three vehicles have their own pros and cons depending upon the availability of funds buyers can go for their choice depending upon their liking towards specific brand.
