New Cars in India on 16th October

Diwali has always sprinkled the Indian car bazaar with many new models every year. And the festive season of 2012 isn’t any different. Car makers are ready to bring in their new cars during the Diwali season, which would offer the aspiring car consumers with so any choices. Many car companies are scheduling their car launches during this festive period and on 16th October 2012, two of the major car manufacturers, Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors are bringing in their iconic models this time around.

Starting with Tata Motors, it will launch the facelift variant of its Tata Manza Sedan on October 16th 2012. This makeover given by the firm to the Tata Manza Club Class model will come with minor changes on the exterior front. The twin tone paint finish on the roof along with some small tweaks on the body frame. On the other hand, the interiors of this 2012 Tata Manza Club Class sedan will be blessed with a brand new touch screen infotainment system, automatic climate control and leather upholstered seats in the top variant. Besides these changes, the main change would be the new 1.3 litre of Multi-jet diesel engine from Fiat that will produce 75BHP of maximum power and 190Nm of maximum torque. It is expected that the fuel efficiency would be increased substantially.

Another car that would hit the Indian car bazaar on the same date is the most anticipated Maruti Alto 800. The car has been in news since a long time. This one will be replacing 800cc Maruti Alto and is built on the Alto Platform. Recently, the company rolled out the official images that increased the enthusiasm amongst the aspiring car consumers. Under the hood, the 796cc of engine will be present and the fuel efficiency will be more than 20kmpl. What is most interesting about this one is the price. Apparently, Maruti Alto 800 will be launched with a price tag of Rs. 2.5 lakh, which is quite affordable and competitive.  

Another one that can be launched on 16th of October 2012 is the face-lofted variant of Ford Figo. The new Figo hatchback will come with some major tweaks on the exteriors and interiors, however, the engine here will be left untouched. The competitive price of 2012 Ford Figo this Diwali could just cheer up the consumers.
