New Cars in India on 25th October

The festive season is becoming the right time for many car companies to bring in their products and General Motors is one of them. The Chevrolet Sail hatchback that was first showcased at the 11th Auto Expo in January this year is believed to be launched officially in the Indian car bazaar. 25th October will be the D-Day for the hatchback. Since a long time now, the images of the car are surfacing the internet and it show that this might just be the next big thing for GM India in the hatchback segment. As per the recent reports, it is also believed that new Chevrolet Spark will share the dias with the Sail on 25th.

The new Chevrolet Sail U-VA is going to face a tough competition in the Indian car bazaar as Maruti Swift has been the dominating one in the segment. Even Toyota Etios Liva and Volkswagen Polo are amongst the major competitors here. What seems to be interesting in Sail hatchback is the price tag. Apparently, the car will be launched with a price tag of around Rs. 3.5 to 4 lakh, which is quite amazing. Apart from the amazing price, the new Chevrolet Sail U-VA hatchback will deliver class-apart fuel economy along with some stunning looks. This car has been designed and developed under the alliance of GM and SAIC China. Therefore, perfection in terms of design could be expected from it. Even on the inside, the car would come with some extra comfort features and safety features.

The engine under the hood is expected to be a superb performer and being coupled with five speed manual transmission, the fuel economy would touch the figure of 22.1kmpl certified by ARAI. All we can say now is that this Diwali Season Ford Figo and Maruti Swift need to buck-up and be prepared to face a tough fight from the new Chevrolet Sail U-VA.
