New Chevrolet Spark coming this Thursday
General Motors India, the Indian unit of the leading American car maker, is all set to bring-out their triumph card on 25th October. The company is set to launch all new Chevrolet Spark in the volume driven small car segment on this day. The Chevrolet Spark is the least priced Indian portfolio cars of General Motors which is facing a very tough competition from the likes of Maruti Alto 800 and Hyundai Eon.
The latest features of the new spark have already been revealed by the company on their Indian website. A series of exciting changes have been made at both interior and exterior fronts, boosting the value of the car in terms of style, comfort & convenience and safety. Talking about the exterior, the Chevrolet Spark 2012 will be carrying new dual tone bumpers at both front and rear side. The design of the front grille is upgraded with new headlights and fog lights with chrome inserts. New exciting body graphics have been crafted at the side panels, and the car will be offered in six new exciting colors including Caviar Black, Linen Beige and Misty Lake, Sandrift Grey, Summit White, Velvet Red.

Inside, the design and style seems completely revamped with newly designed wing inspired instrument cluster which come in combination with dual tone interiors. Also, the driving essential information like speed temperatures are made more driver-friendly with collapsed together meters in one single unit.

The efficient SMARTECH engine of the car in now further improved in terms of both power and economy. The power and torque at lower speeds at lower speeds has been maximized. The optimization in performance is achieved with a range of new age technologies including Dual Distributor Less Ignition System (DDLI), Sequential MPFI (multi point fuel injection), Motorized Throttle Intake System (MTIS) and Advanced Optical Sensor. Now with Hyundai EON is receiving good response and the bestselling Maruti Alto has been launched in a new version, the road ahead for Spark won’t be an easier one. The company will need to come-up with highly competitive price strategy to take on these highly successful rivals in India.
