New Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 BS4 launched, coming in four models

Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 BS-IV, a long awaited multi utility vehicle in the Indian market, today launched in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 7.51 lakh for the base variant while the top end model attracts Rs 10.34 lakh.

It is the BS-IV emission norms compatible Tavera Neo 3 model which will come powered by a 2.0L TCDi diesel engine of the car which is capable of outpouring a peak power of 106.8 PS at 4000 rpm along with a peak torque of 263.7 Nm at 1750-2500 rpm. It is claimed by the company that the new Tavera will be offering a fuel economy of about 12.26 km per liter.

Many of you may not aware that the company has already launched the BS-III version of the Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 in the Indian market in the month of February 2012, following its unveiling at the Delhi International Auto Expo in the month of January 2012. The Tavera Neo 3 BS-III carries an initial price tag of Rs 6.72 lakh.

The 2012 Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 BS-IV is loaded with a number of cosmetic upgrades at both exterior and interior fronts. Outside, the new Tavera is blessed with a dual tone exterior and a newly designed duo color bumper, a larger trademark Chevy bowtie logo at front; stylish multi spoke 15-inch alloy wheels, and many more.   

Inside, the MUV has been made a lot more fascinating as compared to its predecessor with the help of new dual texture interior theme, new ice blue illuminated instrument cluster, etc. The other new features inside the new Tavera include 1Din music system, dual lockable glove box, new power outlet, fabric inserts on door trims and many more.

The Chevrolet Tavera has been a very popular vehicle in the Indian market among the tour and taxi segment. Tavera is the only MUV which is able to pose a threat to the supremacy of the segment leader Toyota Innova.
